* This board is going to be PG-13 verging on MA15 at times. You have been warned. Legally you should be 13 to join Proboards anyway. So if you are on the board under this age, then you’re breaking Proboards rules. So expect things you would in PG13/12a films.

* No chat, 1337, text speak during RPs. Keeping it to a minimum in the OOC areas also. I for one do not understand it and its annoying (and extremely bad practice)

* You’re guaranteed to know basic levels of English if you have joined the board, so pleased use programs such as Word, or spellcheckers. The English language is your friend, please do not abuse it. (You will be mocked and abused in return!)

* You must create a separate account for every new character. This helps the administration. The sign-in name doesn't have to be the name of your character, so long as you edit your screen name to be the name of your character. You must also create new accounts for any NPCs you would like to use (see the NPC sub-board in "Plots and NPCs").

* No Pornographic material. Not only is it our rule, its Proboards rule. So there is no arguing with it. If you post any material considered ‘pornographic’ it will be removed and your account/IP banned.

* Please keep advertisements in the Guest Friendly Advert board. Spam and other Adverts will be deleted, IP and account banned.

* For the love of God, please do not Sue! This means your character needs to have some flaws. Nobody is perfect. Unless there some sort of robot (See: April the Girlfriend Bot – BtVS Season5)

* This is based on the real world, so somewhere along the line, there are going to HAVE to be deaths and marriages, and births. If you wish to have something like this happen to your character, post in the plot section of the board, and something will crop up. If you are inactive for 2 months (60 days) your character will have an accident and be in hospital in a coma for a week, if you still don’t return (with warning e-mail) they will die. Kay? Good.

* Please, keep swearing to an absolute minimum. Certainly arguments will include this, we want it to be true to life, but at the end of the day we will have people younger than expected on the boar.d. And I for one do not wish to deal with complaints from parents as to where did Sid learn the f-word.

* Yes, you are going to have enemies. This doesn’t mean you can down right bully people okay? Sure mock the incorrect use of the English language. Hell, I’m going to do that. But it will not be tolerated unless we see you being nice elsewhere/in relationship outlines that you are enemies, then we will keep an eye on it.

* As for “big naughty”, “doing the deed” or just plain “having sex”, in soap world it is generally skirted around. If you have the urge to write it however, go ahead, just leave a note in the title.

* Power Playing/God-modding is a big no-no. You can not do it, unless asking the character/person you are RP-ing with or god-modding (if they are not in the post) - even then please kept it to a minimum.

* Your character can not be in more than one place at once (unless they have a TARDIS or such equipment) Sure you can have them in more than one post at a time, as long as they take part at different times. You get me? Yes? Good.

* Canon characters are there for a reason, they are not to be changed to suit your needs. Add quirks and details for sure, but sexuality stays as set. As do the face claims, unless you have a serious aversion to come body and really want the character, but in this scenario I say: OC it, or chose somebody else!

* As for gays/lesbians, I have nothing against them, but they are the minority, and despite the fact that this is 300 years in the future, they still will be the minority. So if this becomes and issue, there will be a ban in place. Or I shall make you apply separately for a gay/lesbian character.
